Uncle T, may your soul rest in peace. Thank you for being a kind human, thank you for the Gift that was you.. you will be missedΒ

I was sad when I heard the news of Babatunde's passing.

Though I haven’t met him physically. He was my client as a real estate consultant.

He has been a nice person and a person on integrity

May his soul continue to rest in perfect peace and God will preserve and protect his children and wife

In God’s care you rest above, in our hearts you rest with love. Good night. May the Lord keep, protect and comfort the family you left behind. It’s well with you Bukky.

Hmmm!.

Just getting over the shock on your demise and I honestly can’t.

TUNDE my very great and best friend.

You are a God sent to my life in all aspect.

Your support and encouragement made me strong as a woman and this can never be forgotten.

A caring friend turned brother.

You and your wonderful wife, Sis Bukky accommodated me for good 3 months in the UK without taking a dime Instead you will still buy bus pass and still ask me to move around to enjoy my stay. It is very rare to see such opportunity and to find a genuinely kind friend like you were to me.

You were a rare gem. We shared the most precious memories and I will hold them dearly forever.

When we meet to part no more, l will still choose you as my best friend, Tunde.

@Sis Bulky, l can understand the way you feel but we cannot question God for His doings. Take solace and be Strong. I pray Almighty God will give you the strength to bear the great loss.

Goodnight my friend.

Sun re o, Tunde! Sun re o, Ore bi omo iya.

Till we meet again and part no more

Dear Uncle Tunde,

My biggest uncle in the UK, aka our Kosi Giri uncle. I am still deeply shocked by the news of your passing. My heart keeps returning to the memories we shared, especially the time you were with my younger sister at your grandparents’ place. You made us laugh when you started speaking Yoruba with us, and when my sister corrected you, you simply smiled and laughed, teasing us in your gentle, loving way. You were always funny, kind, and full of joy.

God truly blessed me and my family through you. You were kind-hearted, special, sweet, and boldly honest. You were never afraid to speak the truth. My dad, Bunmi, loved you like his own biological brother. You were two lions from different jungles, standing side by side, challenging what needed to be challenged, fighting, playing, brainstorming, and protecting family at all costs.

You stood up for me many times, saying, β€œBunmi Let this young boy discover the world.” You tried your best for the family, you gave them education, created opportunities, and you brought your children here, so all tell me to take care of my father, Olamide. You were not just my dad’s friend; you were also a second father to me. You constantly encouraged me to aim higher and to shoot for the clouds.

I was your boy. You advised me on marriage, financial independence, film projects, and the importance of love, service, and the power of the tongue. You and I would debate how many countries we had visited, turning it into a friendly competition, always praying that I would experience even more than you and my father.

I love you deeply, Uncle. Thank you for everything you gave to us. I pray that your soul rests in perfect peace, and I ask God Almighty to grant your biological family mercy, strength, and comfort during this difficult time.

You will always be remembered.

Rest well, my big uncle.Β

I'm still shocked by the news of your demise and my heart keeps imaging that someone will break the news that you have recovered from the illness. You were a brother, a friend and confidant. I remember when we used to exchange novels (James Hardly Chase) back in secondary school. Rest on Brother 😭.

INNA LILLAHI WAINNA ILLAIHI RAJI’UN πŸ™.

May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannah Firdaus, and comfort his family and loved ones during this tough time. My heartfelt condolences to the family πŸ’.

Farewell, my dear friend Yomites - that's how I'll always remember you

Our friendship was special, and I'll cherish the times we shared. I cared for you once in the desert of Yola which ignited a true friendship and You never stopped to show me kindness and care, always checking in and offering support, even from afar.

Your love story with Bukky right from our NYSC days in Yola was like a folktale and truly inspiring - you two were a perfect match.

Today is a tough day for me. This wasn't the news I was expecting, but I take comfort knowing you've found peace in Aljanah. I pray the Almighty Allah will give Bukky and the family the needed strength at this time.

Rest in peace Yomitee.πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ
