It is with deep sorrow that we announce the departure of our beloved Ayva "Ayvie" Thomas, who was taken from us too soon on April 26, 2025. Born on January 17, 2008, Ayvie graced our lives with her vivacious spirit and radiant personality for a brief but incredibly impactful 17 years.

A graduate of middle school in 2021, Ayvie was a source of delight and encouragement to her peers. Her dedication to academia was matched …
