It’s been years since we have seen Ayden, but my heart broke when I saw of his passing. This picture is of him and Ezekiel and I use to say they looked so much alike. Prayers for the entire Wachs family.

Today I met Ayden Ivy. As a member of Newbreak I had rcvd the heartbreaking email.  Robert Wachs... wait, like THE Robert related to Jeff.  The Wachs brothers from HS? I felt so heartbroken.  Today I watched the Memorial Service for Ayden Michael Ivy Wachs and I felt pain for the loss of such a lovely young life but felt some comfort in hearing again and again that GOD is in this story and with all the words I heard that described Ayden Ivy I felt so certain that yes God chose the right family to bless with such a beautiful child. It's a pain we always hear no parents should experience and yet today in the depths of that deepest pain it was brought to life that compassion, seeing and loving are all so important and Ayden Ivy knew and inspired that.  I'd like to think that today I was made a bit kinder and aware because a young 17 year old touched my 💜💜💜

God is in this story.

Hugs and prayers

Wachs family our deepest condolences to you  in this unimaginable loss. We attend Scripps Ranch campus and watched the funeral streaming this morning. Please know we are hurting with you. Although we did not know your son, he was obviously amazing and dynamic in many ways . As a mother my heart is broken with you MrsLisa. I am praying the Lord will comfort you in knowing your son is with Him now and that you guys WILL be reunited. What reassuring hope we have in Jesus.

There are no words to say, except we continue to pray for all of you through this period of grief.

No words are able to adequately express the sorrow.   My family just want you to know that God is Faithful and Loving.  He is with YOU.

Praying , praying and praying for the whole Wach’s family. My heart is hurting with you.

I was in a bible study for many years

with Karen Beck .

Now Ayden is with his grandma and JESUS.

Ayden was in 5th grade and it was VBS time. I had Ayden in my group with a few more above average energy kids ;) We had a really good week, but I did have to say pretty often, “Okay, let’s walk.” “Okay, let’s not hit the decorations.” “Okay, one snack until everyone has had one.” “Let’s not throw the craft supplies at each other.” “Let’s keep our hands to ourselves.” Of course Ayden knew the Bible stories and had the answers to a lot of questions. So, I started asking harder questions and showed him other stories. He really paid attention to those. I wasn’t sure he had the best time. But when Lisa came to pick him up on the last day, he started to walk out and then he turned around and said, “Thanks. I had a really great time!” That was pretty awesome!
