No words can describe a person as kind, loving, caring, thoughtful and generous as Avril. We have been so fortunate to have known her and be part of her extended family, through her son Geoffrey who married our daughter Karen. We were lucky to talk to her a couple of times on facetime as we could not visit her during her illness due to Covid restrictions and each time we asked her, “How are you doing, Avril?” her answer was, “I am okay”. She was a person who never wanted to trouble or worry her family and was blessed to have both her children, Giselle and Geoffrey with her husband, Vincent at her bedside, when she went peacefully to God.

Vincent, Giselle and Geoffrey please accept our sincere condolences on your loss of a dear wife and mother who is irreplaceable, but know that she is up there watching over you and the 5 grand-children whom she loved, adored and looked after for so many years not only as a grandmother but also as a second mother.

Avril, we hope to meet one day in God’s presence and till then we pray that your dearly departed soul may rest in the Peace of our Heavenly Father.
