It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Avery Mercer, on February 4, 2025. Born into this world on October 11, 1932, Avery lived a life filled with warmth, love, and joy, touching countless hearts along her journey.

Avery was a woman of many interests and passions. She found joy in the simple pleasure of a plate of spaghetti, the timeless melodies of The Beatles, and the thrill of Red Sox games. Her favorite color, blue, was a reflection of her personality - calm, stable and always dependable.

Her love for sewing was only surpassed by the overwhelming joy she found in spending quality time with her grandchildren. Avery's warm and loving nature was a beacon of light in our lives and a comforting presence we were proud to call family.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her two beautiful children and a lineage of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her son, Rob Mercer, survives her and will continue to carry her indomitable spirit and gentle soul in his heart.

Avery's life was a testament to the power of love and kindness, living proof that one person can make a significant difference in the world. She will forever be remembered not just for her love for life, but also for the lives she so deeply touched. May her soul rest in everlasting peace.
