I'm so sorry for the loss of Avery. I'll always think of him whenever I think about 6th grade home ec class. Avery, it was to say, was hilarious and immensely interested in antagonizing the teacher. He’d get a spark in his eye when he got into verbal matches with her. She wasn’t the nicest teacher, so we were all in awe for saying anything at all. His was joy when he laughed was contagious. May you Rest In Peace, Avery Legan.
As one of Avery's chaplain friends at EPI, my wife and I would like to contribute to help with expenses. A friend I met on a recent flight saw when I first read about the memorial and he also gave charity for me to share with Heather & Temperance.
Please accept our sorrow & prayers of comfort at this time.

Dear JR,

I was so saddened to hear of the loss in your family. May you find some joy and solace in your memories. Wishing you the strength you need to help you through this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Janice Normil
We had the great pleasure of meeting Avery only one time. This summer several trees fell in our yard due to storm damage. Our niece, Heather, came to help with clean up along with her fiance Avery. Although we had never met before Avery immediately became a friend. He jumped right in and worked hard to help us out. We looked forward to seeing him again. It was not only his willingness to help us, but his sincerity and the obvious love he shared with Heather that will always remain in our hearts.

Our deepest condolences to all whose lives were touched by this kind soul.
