Ava Jordan, 69, of Columbus, MS passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2024 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Ava was predeceased by her Father, Bobby R. Harrison of Ripley and Rose D. Roberts of Pontotoc. She is survived by her children, Trey Jordan of Columbus, Megan Hogland of Columbus and Gage Jordan of Columbus, OH, stepfather, James L. Roberts, Jr., of Pontotoc, brother Pat Harrison of Collierville, TN, sister, Kim Harrison of Mathiston, MS. grandchildren, Katie and Tristan Hogland.  After Ava graduated from Ripley High School in 1972,  she went on to study at Northeast Junior College where she played French Horn in the Tiger Marching Band, Blue Mountain College as a member of the Euzelian Society and the University of Southern Mississippi earning a degree in The Fine Arts in  1977.  Ava was an avid artist and lover of all things mystical. Her favorite medium was acrylic on canvas.
