Aurora “Yay” Queaño Alamag went home to Jesus on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

Aurora, affectionately called “Yay” by family & friends, was born to Pedro & Salvacion Queaño on April 25, 1945. She was blessed with artistic talents and a beautiful voice. She had a knack for business & owned & operated a chain of salons & other businesses for decades. She was charitable & generous in nature & touched the lives of so many.

She was survived by her husband, Jose, her children Josefina “Joann” (spouse, Luis) & Jovito “Jovi”, grandchildren Mia, Maya, Greta & Greenlee, siblings Sally, Margot & Cesar, her many nieces & nephews, in-laws & lifelong friends. All of whom she loved deeply.

A memorial will be held at Aloia Funeral Home 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield, NJ 07026 on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and family and friends are invited to reminisce, grieve & support each other.
