I'm hoping this gets added to dear Aurelia's wesite as I think it's really classic besides my original, and first comment on this website for dearest Aurelia.......HERE GOES THEN>>>HOPE IT PASTE"S OKAY TO READ>>>>>I'm hoping this now 2nd entry by myself, Sarkis Sarkissian gets added to this obituary website or whatever it's called. But after writing my first comments about life with Aurelia, I remembere another truly funny??? for sure, story. It was many, many years ago when Aurelia was our neighbor across the street on Hood Avenue in Burbank, California 91505. Her them modest home was soon torn down by a former classmate of mine at Van Nuys High School and her husband with the aid of a governmental loan for EARTHQUAKE RELIEF; and a subsequent 2-story mansion resulted. BUT= = = before this, Aurelia lived in the small abode that stood there. It was one Thanksgiving, where she had planned a friends & neighbors Dinner for all to share. VOILA! My husband Richard Keller and I had gone up to Mesquite Nevada, above Las Vegas to have an early Thanksgiving dinner with his sister & husband, Karen & Gary Beardsley. To be sure we left early on Thanksgiving morning to be home by 4 PM forAurelia's Thanksgiving Dinner!!! We raced via this and that highway, not coming home via San Bernardino but thru the Angeles Crest Mountains------an arduouos task for sure. Well we finally made it home just before 4pm--------DINNER TIME??? when we saw NO CARS ON HOOD AVENUE & NO PEOPLE FOR SAID PLANNED THANKSGIVING DINNER?????? When we knocked at Aurelia's door across from our house on Hood Avenue, she quickly answered the door. When we asked about dinner??? she simply remarked "oh well because of this or that...........I had to cancel the dinner"! Voila! So all that racing for nothing......no THANKSGIVING DINNER FOR US! When we checked all local restaurants for dinner that Thanksgiving Day, they all said they were booked up already. And, most stores were closed for the holiday, except our local VONS was open for another hour till 6PM giving their employees time to be home with family also. So we raced over to Vons where ALL their turkeys AND whole chickens as well were all sold out.........so we had to make due withTWO LARGE DOUBLE PORK CHOPS WHICH THEN SERVED AS OUR THANKSGIVING THAT YEAR~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!! THANKS AURELIA>>>>>>>>>WE ENJOYED OUR PORK CHOPS FOR SURE!!!!!!! C'est la vie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sarkis & Richard saying Caio to all and especially to our beloved AURELIA whom we will miss for ever and ever.............hugs and kisses with love Reilly!!!

This is Sarkis Sarkissian husband w/Richad Keller for 50 years next October 25, 2025 and were friend and neighbors with Aurilia who lived across the street from us on / at our home  4136 W Hood Ave Burbank CA 91505.  She was not only one in a million pal and human being, but I'd say one in a QUADRILLION!!!

Then she ended up in an Assisted Living Home on Balboa St in upper Van Nuys I believe.  I would go there often to visit with her.  That was so neat.  Then all of a sudden she was gone from there and no one there knew what had happened to her.  She had not at that time passed away........but just disappeared with no one at that home knowing what happened to her.  Rich and I have often talked about her and wondered what DID HAPPEN TO HER???   With no answers of course.   Then somehow Rich got this notice from her brother dear Rocky, which shook the hell out of us both.

Aurelia and her many Great Danes with which she was an absolute nut case......just unbelievable and neat to behold..........and then this horrific news comes to us instead of going somewhere to again share times together with her and I would be sure, with one or two Great Danes???

So it is with VERY EXTREMELY SAD HEART that we learned we would not be able to go and make that visit with her again..........I know you are safe and sound dear Aurilia along with all your Great Danes.........I know that you are with our beloved Heavenly Father, dear Jesus and his Holy Spirit for sure......and sooner or later, one day, we will again meet and hug and such.   So till then dearest Aurilia, Rich and I send you our love, hugs, and kisses for sure!!!!!!!!    I KNOW DEAR GOD-HEAVENLY FATHER, DEAR JESUS & HIS HOLY SPIRIT ARE WITH YOU>>>CIAO FOR NOW THEN>>>SARKIS & RICHARD w/LOTS of LUV!!!

Oh Aurelia, what can I say that people haven't already said.  You were the BEST sister-in-law any on person could have.  I always enjoy your company when ever we were together.  The stories, boy those were fun!  And my dear SIL you had a "knack" for telling them.  I use to get such a chuckle out of listening to you tell them.  Honestly I believe your family got tired of hearing them, but I never would.  They were truly fun.  I'll always remember the Thanksgiving in 1979 when the Houston Oilers played the Dallas Cowboys on that day & me, you & Rocky had on our Oiler jersey's and we all were at your parents house.  After the game, the three of us went to the airport to welcome them home & we both thought that Earl Campbell's thighs were bigger around than our waists, well back then anyway.  I have the picture of the 3 of us on my dresser & will cherish it always.  Then the time Rocky & I, Cliff & Jessica went to California to visit & we ate at a seafood restaurant somewhere on Venice Beach & you got deathly ill from eating oysters!  Could never understand WHY ANYONE would eat those things.  LOL - so many more wonderful memories of you my dear SIL.  I love you, always have & always will.  I know your 4 legged babies are glad you finally came to the Rainbow Bridge to pick them up so y'all could walk hand -n- paw to meet Jesus face to face,  Until I'm called Home, rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord & I will see you soon.

Helping Aurelia during the discovery and progression of her illness, doctor's visits and hospitalizations was challenging.  Thankfully, there was help along the way.  While there were many more, much appreciation goes to...

I first met the vibrant, unimitable beauty Aurelia through Cindy, and we had some fun meals and cocktails together. Aurelia's saucy, quick humor and clever Southern-style storytelling always revved up the energy in any gathering. Subsequently, she brought that skill and talent to her book, which I edited and packaged for her to market. It was quite a task! For one thing, there were multiple layers to her relationship with Elvis and the family, as well as plot twists and turns with the ancillary players. And she had many compelling artifacts--cards, letters, photos--which we curated and digitized to include. Aurelia was very disciplined and determined throughout the project. More important, she remained true to her point of view: her narrative voice is distinctively, unmistakably hers throughout. If you haven't read it, I think it would make her smile for you to check it out on Amazon,  '"We Just Killed Elvis'": What Now My Love? My Presley Puzzle," as well as support Gentle Giants Rescue and Adoptions for Great Danes noted elsewhere here. Aurelia is truly a unique and memorable character. I use the present tense on purpose. Don't rest in peace, Aurelia-- throw a party! xoxo

It was an honor being Aurelia's only brother. We never had any grievances or arguments between us. We simply loved and respected each other and enjoyed being together. We shared many laughs and special times together. Aurelia was a bright light. When she entered a room she lit it up. Meaning her positive, kind, gracious, humorous nature and love for others was a vibrant presence. Can't express how much I love and will miss her.

My wife and I can’t thank Cindy enough for all the support, time, and love she had for Aurelia during her late life health ordeals. Cindy was heaven sent and we consider her one of God’s angels.

Aurelia enriched the lives of all who were blessed to know her. She had many wonderful adventures in her time with us on earth, always with that wonderful sense of humor and mischievous smile, no matter what the circumstances. I cannot adequately express the depth of my love for her and the appreciation of her love, and the times we shared with dear friends and colleagues. As your old producer would say,

Fade out: earth, Fade in: heaven

It was a very long time. We were very very close friend myself and my deceased with Shirley Gourgues Zito. The last time I think that we seen Aurelia was right after Elvis pass away. She had move right around the corner from Elvis day Mr. Vernon Presley. That day we were there Mr. Vernon call and I answered the phone, he ask for Aurelia I told him that she left to go pick up some food. He ask who may I be talking to. Told him who I was and he said u again. He call me Mr. H. I help Elvis out in Baton Rouge. I was ask by Ed. Bonja to come down to help out he was shorthanded, says first time ever. Anyway Mr. Vernon says tell her I sensed over a u haul with bunch of clothes of Elvis for her to have a garage sale to get rid of them. He took all of Elvis names off everything. Well he did and came little later himself. After finish with unloading he gave me a give because when I help Elvis out In Baton Rouge I even brought Coffee to His room. Knock on door he said u again you are everywhere, he said I going to have to put u on payroll. I said Mr. Vernon u will never have to put me on payroll anything I can do for u And your son I will. He said I believe u are serious. Said yes I am. Anyway when bringing in the coffee pots I took about 3 steps in room look to my right and there was Elvis in bed like just waking up . He wave to me wanted to go in but I respect his privacy. So much with me. We Aurelia and my wife very close. When she was married to Frankie DuPont that was my barber Aurelia had a beauty shop in there house, my wife work for her washing heads for ready 25 cents a head but she got good tips. Anyway we went to lots of Elvis shows use to go in front of Elvis house stayed there till sometimes 3 in morning waiting for him to ride down. Long story short she did cut Elvis hair I have 2 checks that Elvis wrote out to her. I can tell u lot more stories but one more. I will say this till I died Aurelia was just are more prettier than Priscilla. We love her very funny outgoing she will go out of her way to please. I still can see that Beautiful smile on her face. Now u up in Heaven with your friends . I no u and Shirley having a good time. I love u Aurelia Untill we meet RIP my good good friend. Harold Zito
