How are donations used?
Dementia Society of America® (DSA) is the nation’s leading volunteer-driven all-Dementias awareness organization. DSA provides an information hotline (1-800-DEMENTIA®), many online resources and an easy-to-use, web-based locator, which can assist families and individuals in finding valuable support near to them. DSA underwrites through its Ginny Gives® Program, non-medical activities focused on: music and singing; dance and movement; the visual arts, touch, and sensory stimulation. The Dementia CARER™, Dementia SMART®, and Dementia QUEST® Programs provide recognition to those who serve the Dementia community through meaningful care, innovation and research respectively.

What can be done with a $100 donation?
10 families can be afforded a real education about Dementia care planning; one music, art, movement or touch program can be provided to those living in secure Dementia units; one caregiver can be recognized for superlative care + so much more.
-
What progress has been made already thanks to your donors?
We now touch thousands of families each month, providing hope and knowledge about what Dementia is, and isn't.
-
What is the history of your organization?
Founded in 2013, we're a grassroots volunteer-driven organization that has raised over $5M since our inception to help others and lay the groundwork for meeting the needs of 10,000+ baby boomers turning 65 per day over the next 8 -10 years.
