Audrey's obituary
Audrey Wickham, died peacefully at home on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Audrey was born in Flint, Michigan on June 2, 1931. Audrey married Maurice Wickham on August 16, 1958, in Flint. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved gardening and took joy in caring for her family. Surviving are Deborah and husband George Lenz of Flint, Mark (deceased) and wife Freda of Flint, Pamela Cox of Flint, who lovingly cared for Audrey in her home, Michael and wife Sonja of Cartersville, Georgia, Matthew and wife Sherry of Greentown, Indiana; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Audrey loved life. She loved Jehovah God and had a personal relationship with him. She dedicated her life to serve God in 1947. She taught those she met that God's name is Jehovah (Ps 83:18). She did not fear death because she understood that the condition of the dead is as one who is in a deep sleep (Eccl. 9:5,10) and that they are in Jehovah's memory. She looks forward to the promised resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous (Acts 24:15). She spent her entire life promoting God's Kingdom as the real solution to problems facing mankind. (Mt 6:9,10). She took great comfort in God's promise that his purpose is for mankind to live forever, in perfection, on earth (Ps 37:29).
Special thanks to all of the many doctors/nurses/social workers/aids as well as the Hospice team who assisted Audrey during her final years.
