Audrey Ann Morin

Audrey Ann Morin, 73, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, in Barrington, Illinois, after a battle with cancer. Audrey was born May 8, 1937, in Chicago, and had been a resident of Barrington for more than 10 years. She resided in Lake in the Hills for more than 20 years.

She was the beloved mother of Michael, John , Patrick, Mark and Kelly; a proud grandmother; sister of Edward and Virginia Morin; aunt of many nieces and nephews; treasured friend to many and loving daughter of the late Katherine and Edward Morin of Chicago and Bradenton, Florida.

A lifelong plant and flower lover, she was the co-owner of the former Pots N’ Knots plant store in Algonquin and was employed by the Village of Barrington for most of her career. She loved classical music, even naming her cats Mozart and Constanze, and played piano daily, sometimes entertaining residents of a nearby retirement community.

She was laid to rest at Eternal Hills in Oceanside, California.
