Audrey's obituary
Our beloved, Audrey Ann Luton, passed peacefully on Sunday 29, 2023 after a graceful seven-year battle of bone cancer. She was 67, a mother to many with whom her daughters learned to share. She lived a tenacious life, full of ambition and adventure. From the hills of West Virginia, homeschooling her four children, to the mountains of Alaska; she made her dreams come true. She found true love (while operating A Wandering Moose, her fishing cabin business on the Kenai River) when fishing lines tangled with the man in the river, Mike. Her last weeks alive, she called him "An Angel."
Audrey brought light into our lives as her beauty was displayed beyond her infectious welcoming smile and piercing-kind blue eyes. Her love for the Lord and people will forever be admired through remembrance of her loving compassionate spirit. Audrey’s playful personality shined through her projects and pets. As a proud wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she had a way of making you feel so special, “...because you are…” she’d say.
Audrey's many talents and hobbies include yet not limited to: Swimming, Hiking, Stain Glass Artist, Painting, Knitting, Gardening, Boating/Fishing, Cabin Life, Cooking/Baking and Snow Machining.
She is survived by her sisters: Linda and Diana Williams, her children: Amber Stull, Rachael Brock, Leah Sifuentes, Natasha Bassett and Robert Luton, her seven grandchildren and husband, Michael Robert Luton. She was predeceased by her father-William Clwyd Williams (1977), son-Brock William Thiele (1997) and mother-Juanita Rose Shockey (2016).
While we knew Audrey was nearing the end, nothing can prepare you for the death of a loved one. Audrey did not want any funeral events planned. We appreciate all your love and support and ask you to share your favorite photos and stories of Audrey at her memorial website: everloved.com
