Audrey Jackson Light, 66, of Wake Forest, NC, passed away peacefully on August 29,2021, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Audrey grew up in Wake Forest, a town she loved and never left. She worked at Rowland Landfill for many years and enjoyed cooking, spending time at the lake, entertaining friends and family, worshiping at church, and spending time with her kids. Audrey will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Audrey was predeceased by her parents, James Fell Jackson and Gladys Upchurch Jackson. She is survived by her sister Ann Jordan (James), her children James Carter (Jennifer), Angela Light (Phillip), Amber Milton (Ricky), her grandchildren Joshua, Christopher, Zachary (Haley), Michelle, Ashley, Ricky Jr., and Rayleigh . Audrey requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services.
