It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Audrey Gamson on February 28, 2024. Born in 1933, Audrey's vivacious spirit, marked by her intelligence, wit, and infectious humor, brought light to the lives of many during her 90 years of life.
Audrey was a proud graduate of San Luis Obispo, CA, where she received her Bachelor's in Paralegal Studies in 1955. With her graduation, she embarked on a remarkable journey in the legal field that culminated in her becoming the youngest paralegal at her firm, a position she would hold for many fruitful years.
In 1958, Audrey got married, and three years later, she gave birth to her daughter, Theresa Gamson. Family was the cornerstone of Audrey's life. In the ensuing years, her family grew to include her cherished grandchildren: Jorge Gamson, Randi Fernandez, Rachale Fernandez, Rene Kendall, and Jeoffrey Fernandez. Audrey moved to Moreno Valley, CA, in 1964, where she would raise her family and make countless memories.
Audrey's career at Stein Law Offices was a testament to her dedication and prowess in her field. She retired in 2016, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and touching many lives along the way. Audrey's life was not just about work; she was an active member of the Congregation Emanuel, a Jewish Temple, and she volunteered at the Emblem Club, a charity. These engagements reflected her faith and her commitment to service.
Described as smart, witty, and comical, Audrey had a unique blend of humor and intelligence that made her distinct. She had a knack for making people feel valued, teaching us all to have faith in those who have faith in you. Her greatest accomplishment included her distinguished career in the legal field, but her true legacy was the love she shared with her family and the values she imparted to them.
Audrey left behind an imprint that won't be forgotten. Tattoo enthusiasts and rock music lovers will remember her as one of their own, celebrating her spirit in the way she loved most. Her family, friends, and everyone whose lives she touched will cherish her memory forever. Audrey Gamson will be greatly missed, but her legacy lives on in all those she inspired and loved.
