Audra's obituary

🌷 In Loving Memory of Audra Michelle Daniel

Audra Michelle Daniel of Bloomfield, CT, passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 57 in Houston, TX.

Audra was born in Bloomfield, Connecticut, the beloved daughter of Mary Saunders and the late Paul Saunders, and sister to the late Lawrence Saunders. From an early age, she was known for her caring heart, creative spirit, and generosity.

After graduating from Bloomfield High School, Audra moved to Atlanta in 1993, where she built a career as a dedicated legal secretary. In 1996, she married Carl Daniel, and together they built a life filled with love and family. They raised three children: Brittany Delafose, Steven Daniel, and Brianna Daniel.

Family was always Audra’s greatest joy. When Steven was diagnosed with leukemia, she put aside her career to care for him full-time, showing a depth of strength and devotion that inspired everyone who knew her. After Steven’s passing, Audra moved to Houston to be closer to her daughters, where she rebuilt her life, returned to legal work, and continued caring for her mother, Mary.

Audra had many passions including knitting, decorating and painting, but above all, she cherished the simple, everyday moments with her family. She was known for her humor, her kindness, and her ability to make people feel loved and supported. Her friends, Felicia Canty and Michelle Roberts, along with her family, remember her as someone who could brighten any room.

Audra was preceded in death by her father Paul Saunders, her brother Lawrence Saunders, and her beloved son Steven Daniel. She is survived by her mother Mary Saunders, her husband Carl Daniel, and her daughters Brittany Delafose and Brianna Daniel.

Though there will be no formal services, Audra’s family and friends will continue to honor her by carrying forward the love, laughter, and lessons she so generously gave.

💜 “Mom, you will always be in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace.”
