I worked with Astrid at the APL. She was a a kind and caring person who truly loved the pets. She stopped in many times at the Northeast Ohio SPCA and express how she missed working with the pets. She will truly be missed.

My most heartfelt condolences to Astrid's family, especially her son Alex.
I went to high school with Astrid and we were in the Flag Corps together. We also roomed together our first year in college.
Astrid had a very kind heart and adventurous spirit. During high school, Astrid went out of her way to pick me up and drive me to school in the morning. It always brightened my day to be able to spend that time with her in the mornings.
Astrid, Lisa and I spent our freshman year together at Kent State. What I will always remember about Astrid are the fun times we had together that year and what a true friend she was. She had such a kind soul and was very caring towards others. I will always cherish these memories of her.
