We honor and remember our loving  father Ashok Gore', who passed away at the tender age of 79 just a few months shy of his 80th birthday. Ashok was a wonderful husband and dad, and a loving son, brother, uncle, friend, mentor and colleague to so many others.   He touched so many lives and will be remembered fondly.  He worked so hard his entire life, but also loved to be around others and be social with friends and family.  His story was not complete until he met and married Shobha and built a life in the US after immigrating from India - from the early days in Elkhart, Indiana to the  more established period in NJ and Philly areas, and finally the golden years in California as empty nesters.  Mom and Dad were so generous, welcoming all those family members  who  came to the US from India afterwards to stay with them a few days or a few months or even a few years.   

He was so proud of his alma mater Purdue University where he had earned his Ph.D. and he eventually paid that forward with a donation in his father's name to sponsor future foreign graduate students.  He was also so proud of his sons, and had a deep connection to everyone in the extended family.  Ashok and Shobha had many adventures and travelled so often building a plethora of memories. Nothing was more enjoyable than travelling back to India to reunite with their siblings and nephews/nieces.  He will live forever in our hearts and we are at peace now that he is at peace and his soul is free.  We love you Dad.
