Ashley was so sweet. We were great buddies when we both worked at BorgWarner. I remember us chatting it up at each others desk and going out for lunch. She helped me get through challenging times within the beginning of my career. I’m so sad, I wish we stayed in contact. She will forever be in my heart. ā™„ļø
My condolences to the family Ash will be missedĀ

We both share a love of dogs. One night we were discussing in detail the bathroom habits of our dogs. After a bit of time we started laughing hysterically about what an insane conversation we were being so serious about!
So very sorry for your loss, praying for you all during this devastating time.Ā
Ash and I shared a room for a lot of our childhood. Every year for Christmas we would have our own Christmas tree in our room. Sometimes it was an actual tree and sometimes we made our own by wrapping garland around the vacuum cleaner. Ā

I always was inspired by how Ashley always managed to bring something into her life that made her feel confident. We bonded on self-care and our nails specifically. Her smile and laugh were unforgettable. I pray she is at peace now and enjoying her time in heaven. I will never forget her.

I met Ashley in 2005 when we worked together at Dura Automotive. Ā I remember her coming in on her very first day - bright eyed and bushy tailed - to her last day with the company. Ā Ash and I had a special bond and related well to one another. Ā In fact - it was Ashley who took it upon herself to coordinate and celebrate my 21st birthday! Ā She drove us all over town, and we finally found a little hole in the wall karaoke bar to find our groove :-) Ā As time went on, our lives took us in different directions, but we always stayed connected. Ā She was such a sweet and special girl with a passion for animals and helping others. Ā She could always bring a smile to anyone’s face. Ā I will miss her greatly.

I’ll always remember Ashley’s beautiful smile and how friendly she was towards everyone. My heart is with all who knew and loved her.Ā
I will miss all the times you reached out whether it be a birthday or just seeing me going through some struggles and wishing me well and embracing me with the title brother you’ll never know how much that meant to me and how good it made me feel to reply by calling you, my sister, you will be remembered and loved by all those who knew you. I will never forget you as long as I liveĀ
Our wedding reception. Honest…
2013, Utica, MI, USA
Our wedding reception. Honestly, I dont rememeber much of this particular night hanging with Ash (haha) but, I do know Ashley was a very kind soul!! Before Todd and Ash moved to Tenn we hung out several times with friends. Had one or two deep conversations about just day to day life. She was very caring, I'm sure most everyone knows her love for Dogs! She was such a sweet kind caring person and you knew this just by the the way she talked. She had a heart of gold and a gorgeous smile. Although I did not know her very well I know she is going to be terribly missed by those who knew and loved her. There is no better way to grieve then to talk about HER. Ashley rest easy buddy <3 You were a gem!!!
We are both from Michigan so I told her about these hoodies that say Unsalted a play on the salt life shirts. We both got one and she helped me pick mine out. She also snuck sour patch kids to me in treatment in one of her boots! She unzipped her boot and pulled out the bag of candy she had switched so it was more quiet! She then unzipped the other boot and pulled out a pair of Halloween socks because she knew I’m a sock nut. She helped me with my recovery rock and colored me a picture. She loved to color. We played Eucher and thought some friends the game. I hadn’t played in years and it was awesome. We went shopping together the weekend before she left us shared a meal at Sweet Basil Thai. I got her to try the Thai iced tea. She was not a fan of tea but said it wasn’t horrible. She gave me one of her big books because I needed a new one and I will cherish it always. Ā She was a bright light and I’m glad her light shown on me for the time it did.Ā

We had a o much fun hanging at Aunt Lynne’s pool. She always played so well with Maylie when I just wanted to soak up the sun. Such a sweet soul!Ā

First trip to Buc-ee’s. Spent and hour or so in there easily. She kept finding more and more ridiculous stuff. We ended up turning to into a game to see who could find the holy grail… it went south pretty quick :)

I'm so sorry for the loss of Ash. I'll always think of her whenever I hear the word grace.. she painted a brick and presented it to us and told us she had been given so much grace and didn’t want to forget it. I’ll forever miss her.Ā
Ash was filled with love. For her family, her husband, and her step daughter. She gave that love to animals in need, and had a servants heart. She is missed.Ā Ā

We were in California for Julia’s birthday and our hotel was right across the street from the beach/pier. Ash and I went over and decided to do a little impromptu photo shoot. The water was like ice and we were laughing the whole time, but we both got some great profile pics out of it. One of zillions of happy days together.
