Ashley's obituary

Ashley Cox, a cherished wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 46. Born in Dallas, Texas on October 26, 1976, Ashley's sweet, kind, loving, and loyal personality touched the lives of everyone she met. Ashley is survived by her loving parents, Buff and Steve Burnette. Ashley is survived by her beloved daughters, Zoey Perkins and Skylar Haughton, who will carry on her legacy of love and compassion. She was an incredible mother, and her dedication to her daughters and guiding them through life's journey was immeasurable. Ashley shared many happy years with her husband, Jeff, whom she enjoyed riding on the back of his motorcycle, exploring the open roads and experiencing the exhilaration of adventure together. Their unwavering love and bond were truly inspiring to all who knew them. A beautiful grandmother to five: Annabel, Hunter, Dakota Sky, Aspen Fae, and Kambria. They will all miss their Gigi and the warmth she surrounded them with. With a deep passion for the mystical, Ashley spent her time collecting crystals, exploring their magical properties, and using them to bring light and positivity into her life and the lives of those around her. Her beautiful collection of crystals served as a testament to her appreciation for the wonders of nature and the spiritual world. Those who knew Ashley will remember her fascination with magic, hinting at the enchanting aura she carried with her wherever she went. An avid reader, Ashley could often be found with a book in hand, eagerly delving into new worlds and expanding her knowledge. Ashley's memory will live on through the lives she touched with her warm heart and unwavering kindness. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but we take comfort in knowing that her love, laughter, and wisdom will continue to be cherished in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ashley's name to The American Cancer Society. As we gather to remember and celebrate the life of Ashley Cox, we are reminded of the true impact one person can have on the lives of others. Her warmth, wit, and love have left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her, and her memory will continue to inspire love, compassion, and kindness in the hearts of her loved ones.
