Ashley's obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Ashley Braley's passing on April 7, 2023. Born on October 31, 1983, Ashley was a bright, generous, and kind soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her witty personality and giving nature will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Ashley is survived by her loving family: her sister, Tamara Drury; her father, Marvin Cantwell; her mother, Andrea Eplin, her Step Father, Doug Eplin ; and her three sons, Jason Hoffman, Fox Donaldson, and James Hoffman; her boyfriend Waylon. Step sons Hunter and Trenton. She cherished her family, and her greatest accomplishment in life was her children, who she adored.
Ashley found joy in many aspects of life, including art, with a particular fondness for making candles and creating soaps and herbs. In the sporting world, she was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Her favorite recreational activities included camping, beach trips to Newport Beach and Coos Bay, fishing at Silver Creek Falls, and exploring any hiking trail she could find. Running with her son was her preferred means of exercise, and she relished vacations to her favorite destination, Las Vegas.
A lover of local spots, Ashley could often be found at Word of Mouth, Detroit Beach, or 12 Street Pub. Her passion for life extended to her community, but her strongest dedication was always to her children. Green was Ashley's favorite color, symbolizing the harmony of her generous spirit. And of course her favorite animals were frogs.
In life, Ashley taught others the values of independence and strength, and to always stand up for oneself and what is right. In honor of her memory, a fundraiser has been organized for "In loving memory Ashley Braley" to support the burial expenses for this beloved woman.
