We remember Arun getting a special golf club for our five year old Harry to play Crazy Golf. He looked after the kids so well.
I think about Arun often, but as lives become so busy one often loses contact.                                We lived 2 doors away from each other beginning in the fall of 1963, walked to school together for 3 years in high school, and became very good friends.  Even in college, we would make sure to see each other, during the summers, 1  night each week, after getting home from our summer jobs.  Arun was such a wonderful friend…I was so lucky to know him.
For some reason Arun’s name popped into my head this morning and I thought I would look him up. Very sad to hear he is gone, but happy he had such a full and interesting  life and such a big family. I worked at Arun’s bar in Mijas (as a young 22/23 year old) during the summer of ‘88. He was a lovely man - kind, hugely generous, funny, and a great boss. We spent many hours chatting as we worked, I’m sure he is enormously missed.
After listening to Arun's memorial service 3 yrs ago, I felt like I knew him so much better.  I was sorry I didn't get to know him better when I had the opportunity.  He was a very special man.

I knew Arun as a great teacher, administrator, colleague and friend in Iran. Agree with the comment above about his sense of humor. Also, he was one of the most natural athletes I've ever known, becoming competent at tennis and at downhill skiing in one outing each. I am sad for his passing. Warm condolences to all the members of his family.
Sending our condolences to Jean Alex and Anjuli and family on the sad passing of Arun, we are back in Spain for nearly our 40th year and so sorry to hear this sad news. We have many fond memories of Arun in his bar in Mijas telling jokes, the parties in Finca la Mota and many happy days around the pool, my own mother Susan passed away in February and was so very fond of Arun and all the family, we still have her Finca la Mota jumper at home it must be 25 years old! Big hugs and much love, Eamon, Amy and Eve Conaty xx

I just want to say how grateful I am to  have had had Arun as a brother-in-law and uncle to Ailsa and Alec. We have been utterly blessed. His kindness, patience, understanding and welcome are unsurpassed. To me, he was humanity. Claire xxx

Jean and family. I am so very sorry that you had to say goodbye to Arun. Such a lovely and kind man. I enjoyed my brief encounters with him and was looking forward to more. He is at peace and lives within you and watching over you all. Love to all... Donna Chiozzi
I was deeply saddened to hear of Arun's passing. He was larger than life to many of us who new him and his ability to make people laugh even those he'd met for the first time. He had a big heart and time for all. My memories of him stretch Back to his bar in Mijas Spain to Finca La Mota and his T shirt sponsorship of the softball team! I could go on here but one last thing, he was a man who touched many peoples hearts and was the most kind hearted man I ever met even to this day. My thoughts and prayers go his out to his family.
So very sorry to hear of Arun’s passing. He was a lovely man. He loved making everyone laugh and especially enjoyed teasing me about my Scottish accent. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. With warmest wishes. Lorraine and Nicholas. XX
We are so very sorry to hear the sad news about Arun. We send our condolences to Jean and all the family and wishes that your memories bring you some comfort at this time.
We always remember our holidays and time at Finca la Mota with great affection, the warm welcome, delicious food and fabulous hospitality.
With love and very best wishes Julia John Melissa and Sophie Woods
I worked for Arun at Finca La Mota over 20 years ago! I have such amazing memories of my time there with Arun and family. I will remember him for his hard work ethic, sense of humour and awesome chef skills. Madras curry, gambas pil-pil and BBQ ribs were the best I ever tasted.
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Que Deus console a família e os amigos por essa perda. Que seu exemplo possa inspirar a todos que compartilharam de sua experiência de vida.
