Arthur's obituary

Arthur (Artie )Joseph Stelzle 77 , of Edison died peacefully with family by his side on March 2nd. He was born in Jersey City March 5, 1947 and grew up in Carteret before settling in Edison. 

He was in the Navy and served during the Vietnam War. Artie worked in the Automotive industry specializing in transmissions his entire career. He also owned and operated his own Cottman Transmission Shop, managed 3 AAMCO Shops and was the commercial manager at Advanced Auto. Artie was a competitive Pool player with his Team, Can of Corn, who competed in Las Vegas several times . He was also a fan of the Jets, Bruce Springsteen and video games. Artie also loved Corvettes, he competed in and won many Car Shows through the years.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years Barbara ( Hildreth ) Stelzle , son Michael ( Louise (deceased) )  , Daughters Dawn and Samantha . Grandchildren Amber, Hailey (Joseph), Ellie, Anthony, AJ, Ryder and great granddaughter Isabella. Sisters Lucille McClusky (Jim) and Kay Fedor. And his beloved dog Daisy . Artie also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. 

Cremation will be private, Memorial to be announced.
