I was thinking about Arthur the other day when his birthday popped up.  I went to an African Violet sale in Albany then came home to look up information on the ones I purchased.  I was scrolling through all of them and one caught my eye.  A petite white flower one.  I looked over to find the name an it was called Pip Squeek.  That was my nickname Arthur gave to me when we worked together.  How ironic is that?  I shared the story with other co-workers of his and they all had nothing but good memories and stories of Arthur.

I was so sorry to read of Art's passing in the Sunday Albany Times Union. I worked with Ruth at the NYS Education Department for eight years. My sympathies to Ruth and their children.
