I knew of Mr. Gregory through his friendship with my father, Nick Stan who he met while at GE.

Mr. Gregory crewed with us on several of the sailboats our family owned, including a cruising catamaran my dad built in the backyard and later included windsurfing.

He was always polite, well mannered and patient. Always ready and willing to teach me when I wanted to learn how things worked.

After dad's passing, he called me personally to see how my mother and I were coming along and asked if we needed anything.

He is/was one of the finest men I ever knew.

I am very sorry to hear of his passing, but very grateful to have known him.
