Happy anniversary, Arthur, my love. On this day, I remember the man who was my rock and my deepest joy. The man God brought into my life. The godly father of our children. The priest of our family. Your faith was the foundation of our home, of our life together, and the way you lived your life was a testament to God's love.

I'm so grateful for the time we had, for the joy, faith, and love that filled our home, and for the way you always knew how to make me and our children feel safe and loved. We were a team, Arthur. You were my friend, my lover, my fellow laborer in the ministry, and the heart and soul of so much of my life.

Though you are no longer by my side, I feel you with me every day. Your love remains a guiding light, and I carry your heart with me, always.

Although I do not understand why, I trust in the Lord's plan and find peace in the hope of seeing you again. You were a blessing to so many, and your legacy of faith continues to live on.

I thank God for you always. May you rest in peace, my love, until we meet again.

As we reflect today, 2 years since our dearest Arthur went home. We lift our eyes to our Sovereign God. God, we stand in awe of Your divine presence. Thank you for the precious gift of Arthur’s life: his love, his kindness, his courage, his humility, his Faith, His excellent spirit, his hard work, all reflections of Your grace. Lord, we are grateful for every moment we’ve shared, every laugh, every tear. His life was a testament to your love, your mercy, your blessing, and your faithfulness. Thank you for guiding him through this earthly journey and welcoming him into your heavenly kingdom. We trust in Your promise that he is now in a place of eternal rest. We feel your comfort surrounding us. Your love is our strength. Heavenly Father, continue to fill the void in our hearts with Your peace. Let your presence be a balm to our aching souls. Teach us to trust in Your divine plan, even when we cannot see the way forward. Teach us to hold your hand when the hallway is dark. Teach us to trust when the answers don’t come.
