Arthur's obituary

Arthur B. Dunn, passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 86. He was born on October 14, 1937, to Gordon and Mildred Dunn in Jacksonville, FL. Arthur was a longtime resident in Miami, Florida where he spent over 60 years. He was married for over 56 years to the love of his life, Mary (nee Nelson) E. Dunn, with whom he joins. Arthur had a dedicated career serving others as a Navy Veteran and later with the Miami Rescue Mission where he later retired.

Arthur was an avid sports fan and lover of all teams Chicago based, and a devote Methodist.

Arthur is survived by his three sons, Arthur (Kimberly) P. Dunn, Gordon Dunn, and David Dunn. He was a loving grandfather to five grandchildren Selena (William Saulsbery) Dunn Saulsbery, Jacob Dunn, Joshua (Victoria-Lola Leon Guerrero) Dunn, David “DJ” Dunn, and Samantha Dunn; and six great grandchildren, Kaya, Inatan, Sairus, Mattingan, and Ma’lak Dunn, and Sylvie Saulsbery. He was a dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Arthur joins his wife, Mary, parents, sisters, and great grandson in peace.

A celebration of life service and reception to be held October 12th, 2024, from 10am-2pm at Plantation United Methodist Church 1001 NW 70th Ave. Plantation, FL. 33313.
