Going to miss you Mr Carr you the best teacher me and Sam had we miss you very much rip god speed love you buddy
Marilyn, Donald and others. I first met Art in June of 1975 working at Scottland School for Veteran's children...Camp Legion in the mountains near Scotland, Pa. We worked as counselors together...on duty for 24 hours per day, 6 days per week for the 4 weeks of "boys camp"...and during that time became close friends. Shortly after the end the end of camp that year I joined him for a week camping at Cape Henlopen State Park but spent most of our time at Rehoboth on the beach...or at Gus 'n Gus. Art had met Nancy just before I went down and even then they were together as much as they could be.

The next summer Camp Legion needed a counselor at the last minute and I contacted Art so we worked another month together....oh, the stories I could tell.

Because of car trouble I missed the wedding but got there in time for the reception.

Over the years we communicated only occasionally but every summer on vacation at Rehoboth Beach we always looked for him or might have met up with him a time or two at McDonald's in Newark.

I had just heard on the news of someone named Harrington and had the urge to check the internet for my old buddy...and sadly this is what I found.

Art you were a good friend and I will remember you forever...Lee Hipkiss
