Mr. Artel Kofi Johnson, affectionately known by many names including Papa Son, Pops, Daddy, Dad, Grandpa, Papito, Papasita, Mr. J, Geebo, and Uncle George, passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 88 in Accra, Ghana.

Born on March 12, 1937 in Mountain Hill, St. Catherine, Jamaica. George left school after the 8th grade to support his mother. He often expressed regret for not completing his formal education. Nonetheless, he cultivated the value …
