Arnold's obituary
It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Arnold Yeager on August 26, 2025.
Born on February 27, 1945, Arnold lived a rich and meaningful life—one marked by love for his family, remarkable accomplishments, and a vibrant spirit that touched everyone he met.
Arnold was a devoted father who cherished his children above all else. He is survived by his daughter, Yvonne Powers, and his son, Scott Yeager, both of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
He delighted in life’s simple pleasures: a slice of pizza, Tic Tacs, a cold beer while watching Supernatural, or cheering on the Arizona Cardinals. These small joys reflected the ease, humor, and authenticity with which he lived.
Ever curious, Arnold never stopped learning. He enjoyed playing the slots, and even at age 80—while in the hospital—he was still teaching himself to code. His favorite color was brown, a fitting symbol of the steadiness and comfort he brought to those around him.
A proud patriot, Arnold dedicated his career to the United States Air Force, where he rose to the distinguished rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He believed deeply in mentorship, respect, and lifelong growth. His guiding motto—“always smiling, always learning”—inspired countless colleagues, friends, and loved ones.
Arnold leaves behind a legacy of service, kindness, and compassion. He had a gift for putting people at ease, lifting spirits, and encouraging others to see the best in themselves. While his absence leaves a profound void, his lessons, laughter, and love will continue to guide us. His memory will be forever treasured in our hearts.
