Armena was one of my coworkers at Ryder. I remember sitting in on her initial interview and during that 30 minute conversation it felt like we had known each other for years. Her infectious smile and laugh will be missed around the office. Sending so many prayers to the Brown family.

My condolences to the family. Armena was such a great cousin and friend to me. I will miss her giggly laugh and bright smile. We would talk for hours about books and tv shows. I will love her forever.

My prayers are with the family. I remember Armena coming into the office (North Georgia Orthodontics) smiling and excited about getting her braces off. She was a beautiful young lady inside and out. Her spirit will continue to live in her family and the lives she touched . 🙏🙏🙏

My sincerest condolences and love to the Brown family! Armena was my dearest college roommate and I’m honored to say she’s left an impact on my life. She was the first person to show me how to care for my natural hair, and I admit I still have an Auntie Jackies curl custard she gave me years ago that I should probably get rid of lol . She was the first person to teach me what self care truly was , even in moments she didn’t feel her best. She showed me what it meant to have boundaries and I’ll always hold that dear to me.
Armena was nice enough to choreograph a dance to Billy Holidays “Strange Fruit” for me for a class project. I was amazed at how multifaceted Armena was ! She was a gifted dancer, and I loved seeing her operate with so much grace and patience when she helped me with the routine.
I also admired how disciplined she was with her diet , I still have the same blender she recommended for smoothies lol I’ll always miss our late night convos in the living room on the floor. We all became women together. It was so much about the world we navigated during those college years, and I’ll always admire her sense of humor, grace, and kindness.
Her mother, my Soror, was so nice to me and extended her love when I first crossed . I now extend my heartfelt love and gratitude to her, for sharing such a beautiful soul with us all. You all are in my prayers, and I pray that God keeps you during this challenging time.
