Dear Shirley!
So sorry for your loss!
Remembering Frenchie............... many years fishing in Campbell River, enjoying his presence
A Tough guy with a WARM and CARING heart
Frenchie was as tough on the OUTSIDE as his beloved boat "Tanker" On the INSIDE the real Frenchie appeared !
When you were "hooked up", the Tanker with Captain Frenchie appeared out of nowhere. He circled your boat to make sure no other boat or seal would come close to prevent you from "landing" that fish. When that fish was finally in your boat, Frenchie was just as excited as you were.
He always checked that all the boats in our "group" were home safe!
Frenchie's name in Campbell River was " The Tanker" He loved to be called that name!
We will miss Frenchie, we have to let him go, but our memories will remain!
Fondly,
Toni and Horst Will

Dear Shirley,
Many years have passed, but the memories are still vivid. We still can picture Armand (Frenchie) fishing in his boat wearing that special cap of his. Ron remembers when Frenchie took him out fishing in his boat. To Ron, this was a very special time, because Frenchie normally did not take others out fishing with him. This is a memory that Ron will forever cherish. Our hearts are saddened by your loss. We hope that you are taking comfort in the many loving, happy memories that you made with Frenchie.

My sincere sympathy to you Shirley.
Liliane, Edith & Eveline & families, we rarely see each other anymore. Distance & older years makes it hard to be around. You have lost, 3 brothers now & I have lost 2 along with a brother-in-law since last year
Time flies by, but we still care. Thinking of you, hugs to you All.
Sincere sympathy to all your families with love. Take care of each other.
Lucienne, living in Vernon now. xxoo

Saddened to hear of Frenchie's passing. The Headwaters boys are playing crib, smoking & enjoying a "tastie" & lots of laughs. Condolences hugs & love from the girl who always asked so many questions when fishing on board the salmon boat!

Dearest Shirley, I am so sorry that you have lost your beloved Armand. The memory I have of him most is sitting on the back of his vehicle, close to the time he knew you’d be arriving home, just waiting to see your face. The look on his was always of love and comfort knowing you were home safe. Such devotion on both your parts. May warm memories bring you comfort.

“God saw him getting tired,
But a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around him,
And said “Come to me”.
Sorrow is expected, but good times
and memories will always be there.
Thinking of you and yours.
Love Always,
Sheila & John Kish
