Antonio Tibos Cagulangan, 85, of Brentwood, CA, passed away on March 13, 2022 after battling health complications related to lung cancer.

Antonio was born on January 20, 1937 to Juan and Adoracion Cagulangan in Roxas City, Philippines.

After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Feati University in Manila 1970, he found work in pipe stress design throughout the United States of America.

In 1971, Antonio married Florinda Puente in Wilmington, DE and they had two children, daughter Mary Jean Shimane and son Marc Cagulangan.

In 2005, Antonio and Florinda moved across the country to be with their first grandchild Benjamin. Antonio was very involved with Knights of Columbus at their parish Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He loved gardening, cooking, and babysitting his apos (grandchildren).

Antonio was predeceased by his parents Juan and Adoracion, and siblings Magno, Juanito, and Angelita. He is survived by his wife Florinda, his children Jeannie and Marc, and his grandchildren Benjamin, Grace, Sam, Noah, Cole, Bradley, and Leah.

Viewing and funeral services will be ​held at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Brentwood, CA on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 10am PT followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette CA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Knights of Columbus.
