I think about you everyday, Toño and everyday I miss you. Today, I remember you with an extra dose of love, my brother. You were a wonderful husband and father to Petrice and your children. They're doing great, but I'm sure you can see that. I was grateful to have you as a brother. I remember our days in Ensenada, then Delano, CA and finally San Jose. Each place holds special memories. I remember them with smiles and laughter, a few with tears - but the journey of our lives as siblings made us who we are. God never gave us more than we could handle. Our experiences built character and made us stronger than we realized we could be.

I actually don't remember what EPL team that Tony supported - but he made me think he loved Arsenal - the team that our family supports. For the big games (Arsenal vs ManU or ManCity or Chelsea etc), I would get a celebratory or condolence text from Tony after the game ended. It always made me smile. I moss those texts.

This day, Tony's birthday brings the "miss you" feels right back into focus. I so miss his level headed mind in tornados that start-ups can be. He always made very good decisions based on very a practical positive point of view positive intentions. He was super helpful to me and to our team. I so miss his enthusiasm and energy to always move forward among the noise and confusion that can happen. But most of all I miss his smiles and big laugh...those came in good times and in bad...a sign of the depth of his heart and soul. I still feel his impact!

Recently found out that Tony had passed away. It was very sad for me. He was the person I consider my first boss who opened doors for me in my career and my first role model in business. As with many people in life, we disconnected over the years due to busy lives but I'll always have a fond memory of Tony opening markets in Latin America and his leadership within important tech companies of the 90s. RIP Tony.
