Antonino Bondi, 36, of Wheeling, IL, passed away on March 18, 2024. He was born on November 27, 1987, in Chicago, IL, to Alessandro and Francesca (Guagliardo) Bondi.

Antonino was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Alessandro and Francesca (Guagliardo) Bondi; his brother, Gaetano Bondi, and sister-in-law, Sarah (Pierson) Bondi; his nephew, Luca; his sister, Rosalia Bondi; and his niece, Aurora.

Antonino was preceded in death by his grandparents Antonino and Angela (Locascio) Bondi; grandfather Gaetano Guagliardo; and his beloved dogs Rocky and Moose.

In his professional career, Antonino pursued welding, showcasing his skill and dedication. He later transitioned to plumbing, where he continued to excel. Beyond his career, Antonino was known for his profound love for his family, friends, and life itself.

Antonino's passions extended beyond his work; he found joy in working on mechanical projects, tinkering with cars and motorcycles, and indulging in movies. However, his greatest happiness came from spending quality time with his loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever. He had a special bond with his beloved dog, Nicks, who brought him immense joy and companionship.

Antonino's warm smile, kind heart, and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering loyalty. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

The service to honor and celebrate Antonino's life will be held at Matz Mount Prospect Funeral Home on March 26, 2024. Visitation hours will start at 4:00 pm with a funeral service following at 7:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate any monetary donations to assist with funeral costs.
