Anthony C. “Tony” Walls, age 70 of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at his residence. He was born January 20, 1953 in Wood River, the son of Clyde “Woody” and Wanda Gray Walls. Tony was formerly married to Paula (Stracke) Watson, Crystal (Presley) DeVerger, and Charlotte (Carter) Hellemeyer.

He is survived by three children: a daughter, Salina (Steve) Porter of Pekin, IL, a son, Ian Walls of Counce, TN, and Rebecca (Mike) Snyder …

Rebecca, Ian, and I are planning a Celebration of Life event for our Dad for Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 at the SJMBC Celebration 2 Center in Alton, Illinois. Time is yet to be determined. Dad would have wanted a celebratory event, so there will be live music and food to honor his memory.
