Remembering my little brother, Tony, who would never step down from a challenge. Those summer days, Tony on his dirt bike, me on my horse, chasing down the dirt backroads. Such fun! Tony, you are missed. You are remembered. You are in my heart.

Tony would do everything possible to help others and he would do everything asked of him by family.  He was my best friend, my love and we shared every decision though out our relationship.  He helped me when I was down and I always supported his dreams.

I met Tony when I walked into his office. He was an Air Force Recruiter.  I answered his questions, then he asked if I had a boyfriend, his reason, he stated, for asking that question was because women changed their minds about joining if their boyfriend objected.  After I answered negative to the boyfriend question, we talked for awhile. As I was getting ready to leave Tony said he takes all his new recruits out to dinner and asked me to dinner that night.

Tony picked me up about 7 pm that night, he brought a single rose and we went to a small Italian restaurant. He had me home by 9:30 pm, and I still wasn’t thinking it was a date, and went back out to met up with friends for the rest of the night.

Tony called the next afternoon and asked me out on a second date the next afternoon.
