Bro. Anthony was one of the finest men I ever met. He was always willing to help, encourage, or lift a hand for me and anyone else. He told me Bro Steve always be positive, we don't need any negativity in our lives. I have know him for over 40 years, he was always faithful, always early to services, always at his post of duty. always enjoyed a good laugh. He was dependable and thoughtful to all of us. Always provided for his family no matter what the situation. He loved to talk about the word. He was my friend and I will greatly miss him. I too look forward to the ressurrection! See you soon my friend. Bro. Steve Thornton

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the passing away of  our precious brother and friend Bro. Tony. He will be fondly remembered for his kindness and his great humor. May the Lord bring you all comfort during this time of bereavement. You are all in our prayers.

God bless you

I remember one of my treasured moments with Uncle Tony is when my brother Nathan and I were kids in Oklahoma when he was a part of the “give gift for a child “Foundation that he took part in with his job with the Claremore police department during the Christmas holiday back in 1999 and 2000. I remember when we walked into the store where the event took place and greeted Uncle with a big smile and he had one of the police officers escort us into Walmart and we could get any 1-5 toys we wanted.

Another fond memory is when Uncle Tony and I went to Oklahoma to visit family a little before Christmas in 2013. I remember him driving straight through nonstop from Tucson to Tulsa in 15 hours. I remember he hated the cold and he would say things like “Phew” and “Son!!!”

He would always make me laugh with that.

I also remember that he’s always been the type of person to be anywhere a little early. He’d never been late for anything from what I can remember, and if he was late it was something dire.

Another precious moment is when he would give me and my brother and my mom little gadgets or tech toys for Christmas when we were younger and we’d always look forward to those times.

Uncle Tony, you will surely be missed. We love you so much and it brings peace knowing you’re in a special place up above. You truly are one of God’s true and faithful servants who has stood the tests of time.

God bless you richly. We salute you and we’ll see you on the other side.

❤️

Bro David, I'm sad to learn about the passing away of your dad. I was privileged to be with him in Costa Rica and spent a wonderful time of fellowship.

I pray that the Lord grant you, the entire Robertson's, and Sister Barbara comfort and peace that surpass your pain. We shall see him on the brightest resurrection morning.

Peace be unto you!

Bro Godsmanh and Sis Nathy

The last time we saw our Brother Anthony in person was the last service we were able to attend together due to my (William’s) extended illness. He was suffering and in pain, yet he took the time to encourage us during our time of need. He followed us to the car and offered encouragement and beautiful words of wisdom.

He always had a smile, a warm handshake, a song, and a praise.  He even shared a dream about me walking into church again in my gray suit, no wheelchair, no walker.

My wife and I are so thankful for the years we had the privilege of knowing a man like our Brother Anthony. He will be missed but we are comforted knowing we will see him soon!

David, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. We are thinking of you and your family at Shift4. Prayers and thoughts to all during this challenging time.
Tony was known for his quick wit and infectious humor. He always had a joke to tell or a kind word to share, brightening the days of those around him. Tony was also a generous and helpful colleague, always willing to lend a hand. It was an honor to work alongside such a remarkable individual.

Brother Anthony, my friend, my brother in Christ, and my mentor. Even saying these words doesn’t seem to fully capture the profound impact that Brother Anthony had on my life. I first met him in 1989 when I was only 19 years old. Through the years I witnessed his unwavering zeal for the things of God. He was a man who dedicated his entire life to serving the Lord, the living embodiment of a true Christian. Even in his hardest trials, he always reflected Christ.

His faith was like that described in Hebrews 11—so much so that I believe a verse could be written about him. Perhaps it would say:

“By faith Brother Anthony Robertson withstood the harder trials of the Third Phase and held onto the promise for his adoption and the promise of his family. He never wavered in his faith and held steadfast to his Title Deed. By faith he walked with the Lord, and he pleased the Lord.”

Brother Anthony had a special way of saying the right words at the right time. His wisdom came from a life steeped in prayer and a close walk with God. I remember once calling to check on him, hoping to encourage him. Instead, our conversation turned into over an hour of him encouraging me. He spoke about my boys with such love and insight that, after the call, I felt strengthened and uplifted. This is just one of the many memories I will treasure.

He also had a quick wit and a sense of humor that were unforgettable. Brother Anthony had a way of connecting with people of all ages. I recall him teasing a younger brother once, saying, “You still have Similac behind the ears.” It was moments like these that showed his sharp mind and ability to connect and encourage with love, always pointing others back to Christ.

Every area of his life was a testament to the power of a surrendered heart. His influence on me has been immeasurable. Brother Anthony showed me what it means to live a life completely dedicated to God. He was more than a mentor—he was an example of true faithfulness and love.

Though he is no longer with us in the flesh, the impact of his life on all who knew him is evident. His unwavering faith in the promises of God and steadfast reliance on Him in every trial were extraordinary. I am forever grateful for the time God allowed me to have with Brother Anthony, a man whose faith will continue to inspire and challenge me daily.

Many people often say they would have loved to witness the great acts of faith in the Bible—like David defeating Goliath or Joshua marching around Jericho. While those were mighty men of God, I count myself truly blessed to have personally witnessed the faith of a man whose trust in the Lord, I dare say, surpassed even theirs— a true mighty man of God, a warrior of the faith in our age Brother Anthony Robertson.

Brother Anthony, I will see you on that great resurrection morning.

With heartfelt gratitude and love,

Although I had never had the pleasure of meeting Anthony in person, over the past two years I have gotten to know him and his son David and sister Charlotte through various correspondence. I am aware that he was a kind and gentle soul, deeply loved by his family. It has been an honor to be a small part of his remarkable life, and I extend my sincerest and heartfelt sympathies to all his loved ones during this challenging time. It is inspiring to witness the positive impact he made throughout his extraordinary life.
