In Loving Memory

Anthony Carroll Roberson was born to Elizabeth Moody Roberson and Stanley Brassfield on March 17, 1981 in Cleveland, MS. Tony left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on January 3, 2020 at UMMC in Jackson, MS, surrounded by his loved ones. Many knew him as “Tony” or “Tone Tone”.

Tony is preceded in death by his grandparents, Abner C. and Wilma Jean Moody, an aunt Teresa Norris, and uncles Randy Moody, Michael Moody, and Larry Moody.

Tony is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sharlene Roberson. His mother Elizabeth (Chewy) and father Stanley (Mamie), two children Kalob Wayne 16, and Lily Grace 5, brothers Timothy Roberson of Pontotoc, MS, Kevin Melton of Coffeeville, MS, and Chris and Cody Brassfield of Hernando, MS. Honoraries include Richard Moody, Johnathan Kimble, Joseph Moody, Bill Dixon, Richard Moody Jr., James Moody, Chris Kimble, Tracy Malone, Shannon Sims, Chris Mullins, Gary Kirby, Jamie Kirby, Jon Paul Correro, Trey Moore, Dixon Brown, and Brayden Salley.

Tony worked for Jan Tran in Rosedale for 8 years before his illness began in 2016. He loved working on the river and could always find peace there. Tony was a hard working, selfless, and giving man of God. He loved his family with his whole soul, especially his children. He fought to live and to care for them as long and as hard as he could. He will truly be missed here on this earth, but we know he is no longer in pain. He has now been made whole, and this gives us peace. The Lord Jesus has been so good to us and has truly guided his departure.

Memorial services will be held at his home church H.O.P.E (located at 201 S Bolivar Ave, Cleveland, MS 38732) on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM. Officiating is Brother Crockett Kennedy his pastor that has not left his side.
