Maury and I would spend sunday evenings watching NFL football and eating pizza from a specialty establishment while watching it. His dad on certain days would prepare cuban sandwiches and heat them up on his sandwich maker for both us. Maury would help me with financial advice and then play Jackass videos for me. But ofcourse we would do this on different Sunday evenings. NFL season was mostly football games and his special pasta meal which he prepared for me. But once he started dating different women in 2007, he was not always available to watch football with me at his home. But for 9 years (2003 to 2012) we hung out at his place on Sunday evenings watching football or watching comedy shows. By 2008, I was busy with my dad most of the time when he became a dementia patient interrupting sunday plans. By 2012, I was busy as a caregiver to both my parents and could never spend any time away from my parents and their care. But I miss those days hanging out with Maury. In 2020, he became a cancer patient and began his chemo and barely had time to do anything. We managed to share certain days during 2024 repeating our football nights until he passed away.
