Mr. Anthony "Gee" Porter, born on September 8, 1979, passed away on February 20, 2024. Known endearingly by friends and family as Gee, he was a man full of life, fun, and outgoing, always the life of the party. His playful sense of humor brightened the lives of many who were fortunate to know him.

He leaves behind a large, loving family who will remember him fondly. His children, Kyara Porter, Jordan Forrester, Ci‘erra Jones, and Jydan Porter as well as his step-sons, Jevan Nelson and Kaleb Casey, survive him. 

Gee's legacy extends to his beloved grandsons Rayden Jones, Ke'dan Jones-Fulks, and Jordan Jr. Forrester;  granddaughters Izabell Jones and Arya Crawford. His mother, Sharon Robbins; brother, Grant Porter Jr; nephews, Darnell Porter and Dre Porter, also survive him. He was predeceased by his sister, Robin Porter.

A viewing ceremony will be held on March 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM at 1 SW 59th St, where family, friends, and loved ones can gather to honor his memory.

Gee had a zest for life that was reflected in his preferences. He loved home cooked meals, and was an avid fan of Lil Wayne and 2pac. He enjoyed watching comedy and horror movies. 

Had an affinity for the movie 'All About the Benjamin'. A supporter of the Chicago Bulls, he also had a fondness for the color blue.

He was a man full of life, always joking, and with an infectious joy that made him the life of the party. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts and minds of his loved ones. Gee's passion, his humor, and his love for his family are his enduring legacy. He was loved and will be missed by many.
