I have known Anthony Hemmings(Tony) since he was in Primary School in Jamaica. His Family & my Family were very close.He was like a Nephew to me. His Mom was my Hairdresser & my two children spent a lot of time at Tony’s home & looked up to him as a big brother. He would overnight at my home when I had to work late as he would be with my Children. The last time I saw his handsome face was at his Mom’s Home going Service. We communicated by telephone numerous times since I moved from Jamaica to Florida. It was with much sadness that my Children & I received the news of his passing. Tony was loved in life & will forever live in our hearts ♥️. Rest In Peace Tony.

Where do i start when Toni as we called him then and I went so far back. He was among my first childhood friends. No greater Michael Jackson fan ever walked the face of this earth. No edition of sixteen magazine was ever published that he didn't have. We were also professional karate experts. Thought by watching karate movies at the Palladium theater. I swear to u guys in our head's we were the greatest. Even better than those staring in the movies. LoL. On one faithful morning we squared off. Clash of the titans. As we made our moves. Kicking punching, blocking, ducking and the whole works. I made a spinning back kick. I saw his hands go up to cover his mouth. There was blood and he was spitting out teeth. Sounds like a joke now. But that morning it felt like the end of the world. How could this happen. It wasn't like we were fighting out of anger. We play fight almost on a daily basis. Well guess what. There ended our karate career.
Though years and miles has taken its toll he was that childhood friend that will always stay etched in my memory.

It is with heavy heart that I am writing this note. Toney you left too soon. We were supposed to meet it Charlotte before spring. Now you are gone, but rest assure that you will be resurrected. John 5:28 29 Jesus own words. I am making it my aim to live up to Bible standards that I can see you in the new system. In the mean time rest in peace my brother. You will be always in our hearts.
