Tony's obituary
On Monday November 14, 2022, Anthony Gabriel a beloved husband passed away at his home
at 78 years old. He was born to Anthony and Mary Gabriel. Tony graduated from Fairleigh
Dickinson University with a master’s degree and went on to be an engineer, a field he pursued
for 53 years.
Tony relished his role as a mentor. He was kind, compassionate, and generous. He will be
remembered forever as a strong, gentle man. Whose “bark was bigger than his bite.” He was
always willing to help or teach someone. He will lovingly be remembered by his wife, and best
friend of 37 years, Andi. His children Kurt Gabriel, Christian Gabriel, and Erik Gabriel. Six
grandchildren, Lukas Gabriel, Mason Gabriel, Aram Gabriel, Andre Gabriel, Henry Gabriel, and
Katelyn Gabriel. He is survived by his sister Marion Roppolo, along with three nieces and a
nephew. Suzanne Jordan, Kathy O’Hara, Patricia LaMazza, and Mario Roppolo, and lots of “fur
babies.”
Although his untimely and unexpected passing left a hole in our hearts, we find comfort knowing, he is dwelling
in the house of the Lord.
