Anthony's obituary
Anthony (Tony) was born February 29, 1964, in Champagne, IL to his parents Joseph and Judy (Carsey) Dubson. He was the eldest of numerous siblings whom he loved dearly. Upon graduating from West Aurora High School he had a daughter and later fell in love with his best friend Vickie. They married and together had 3 sons. Tony worked construction and as a truck driver for over 30 years to provide for his family. His long hours and dedication to his family never seemed to burden him, it was his joy in life. He had a very generous heart. He gave anything he had to friends and family without hesitation, he was a man who could never say "no."
Outside of his family his hobbies included country music, old western movies, and working on cars. He enjoyed singing and had an amazing voice. He was a master mechanic that could fix anything with an engine. The title "Jack of all trades" is definitely fitting for him. Tony was a fighter, one of the strongest. He fought his battle with cancer, for almost four years, with a smile on his face and still as charitable as always.
Tony is survived by his life long partner Vickie Dubson of Batavia, IL; his daughter Desiree (Herbert) Chavez of Newark, IL; his son Anthony (Renee) Dubson Jr of Lone Rock, WI; his son Michael Dubson of Batavia, IL; his grandchildren Ashanti, Elena, Emma and Larry Chavez of Newark IL and Anthony III and Olivia Dubson of Lone Rock, WI. He is proceeded in death by his father and step mother Joseph and Chris Dubson; his mother and step father Judy and William Carsey; his son Joseph Dubson; and his sister Dawn Dubson-Camarena.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 26, from 2:00 to 4:00pm, at The American Legion of Yorkville, 9054 NY-34. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to help cover medical expenses.
