Anthony Scott "Tony" Cordes, 31, of Belleville, Ill., born July 8, 1974, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, as the result of an automobile accident.

Tony was generous to a fault with a warm heart and a gentle soul. He will be deeply missed by his son, Christian, his parents, Michael and Jan, nee Caldwell, Cordes, his nine brothers and sisters, Tanya, Che, Kendra, Deborah, Justin, Kristen, Bryan, Andrew, and Sarah, and his dear friend Whitney; along with many other friends whose lives were touched by Tony.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Christian Parker College Fund, c/o U B S Financial Services, One North Brentwood Blvd., Suite 1400, St. Louis, Mo. 63105.

Funeral: A private burial was held at Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo., on Friday, July 22, 2005. A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 23, 2005, at Blessed Sacrament Church, Belleville, Ill.
