Happy Birthday, Mr. T!  Truly miss you!
Deeply saddened when I heard the news of Tony's passing.  He always moved around with a smile and a good heart, even on a rickety crappie fishing boat. Condolences to Edie and family.  He blessed this earth with sweet music and a smile in his heart!  Tony, Rest in Peace.  J. Wilson
I really enjoyed talking with Tony about fishing and bowling! He always had great "fish tales" to share! Easter Sundays were always fun at the home in north Austin.  Tony will be greatly missed.

I worked with Tony at APD and always knew him to be supremely professional and friendly.   I don't remember ever seeing him without a smile, and his even-keeled nature was pleasant to be around.  I'm glad he got to enjoy retirement with his family, and I wish all his family and friends my sincere condolences.
I've known Tony for 49 years.  He and I worked together at Texas DPS and played in BootStrap Band together.  He was one of the original members of the band in 1977 until 2005.  He was an amazing individual with so many talents and a devoted friend to all who knew him.  Prayers to the family and he will will be sorely missed.
Tony played with us in our band for over 16 years, what a great talented Piano player but even more so, a great great man  and friend that we will miss immensely! Rest in peace dear friend
I worked with Tony for many years in the APD Lab until my retirement in 2002.  Tony was a great Forensic Chemist who was very helpful in the planning and improvement of the laboratory at APD.  He was a very diligent and competent chemist in all areas of lab work.  Tony was always cheerful and pleasant to work with and will be missed by all his coworkers and friends.  My sincere sympathy to Edie, Steven, Mikey, grandchildren and all the family.
Bobby and I haven't seen Tony since we were at A&M together. I remember his complete devotion to his little girl and how much joy he had in being her dad. I'm sure that never changed!

Tony was a wonderful neighbor. When we were kids we played basketball in the driveway of my house. He was a fun friend.
I loved that boy. He was a sweet and funny kid when I knew him. I didn’t know he played keyboards and was a chemist just as I was.
I worked in the crime scene unit and was partially trained by Tony during the conversion and start of the ID section becoming the primary  unit to process major crime scenes. I will always remember Tony for his wisdom and sense of humor. R.I.P Tony.

Tony was a wonderful colleague, friend and supplied lots of laughs at SWAFS conventions.  I have missed our fishing conversations of late.   Condolences to the family.

Tony and I worked together in the Criminalistics Section of the Austin DPS Laboratory.  I have many great memories of Tony. He was a very competent Forensic Scientist and had a great sense of humor. Tony will be greatly missed.  My sincere condolences to Edie and family.

I knew Tony for a long time working at the city. He was always so nice. A pleasure to talk with. God bless you Tony! You can fish all the time now.

Tony was such a great person to work with and he will be missed by all.  Hugs and Prayers for his family.

Tony as part of the Labrat pack and Clanlab gang you are going to be missed. We all spend a lot of time together in the heat and in the cold. I have some really great memories of working with you first in the DPS lab then with APD. Your fishing stories with Calvin and Bixler were a hoot. But what remember the most is your love for Edie, Stephen, Mikey and the grandkids. You would have done everything and anything for them. Be free and we know that you will be watching over them everyday.

Best pictures I can think of to honor a wonderful person. Tony, you were and will always be a part of my memories. You and Edie made a great team and James and I were honored with your friendship and support. Fishing trips, Bowling days, Gatherings at your home, Time spent chatting about life and most of all, your smile, are what I have will carry in my memories. I will miss our texts with silly jokes and your caring support so much.

Cathy B.

Tony you are going to be missed by a lot of people.  You were always there to help when needed specially when I started in the lab.  Thanks for good memories

Tony was a very competent and valued Forensic Scientist at the DPS Crime Lab in Austin, where I and others were honored to work with him. I'm sure we were all glad when he returned from Houston to Austin so we could renew acquaintance with him at the Austin PD Crime Lab. I was amazed to learn of Tony's talents as a musician. He could play the piano and keyboard with the best, and many of us coworkers got to hear him play. Tony was one of a kind and will be missed by many. My condolences to Edie and his family.

Working, fishing, and bowling with Tony has given me lifelong memories! My wife Judy and I really enjoyed listening to Tony’s music! You will be missed young man! RIP Tony!
