I was deeply saddened to hear of your passing. I had the honor of meeting you at Faith Community Church, where your spirit of prayer, compassion, and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew you. You were truly a virtuous woman of God, walking in strength and grace. I can only imagine you now, dancing with joy before the Lord.

My heartfelt condolences to you, Valerie, and the entire family. I am holding you close in thought and prayer, and sending you love and comfort during this difficult time.

I met Antonia in Harlem at Mid Manhattan Adult Learning Center LPN Career ladder program Antonia was a very kind and compassionate person. We studied hard and laughed a lot. She Loved and talked her family. You see her beautiful baby girl in the picture with us.

I just want to send my condolences & prayers to the family & friends of Antonia.

May God Bless & Keep you

To the Aro Siblings; The first time I met Antonia was at a family gathering. She spoke to me about how happy she was in knowing that Debbie and Josh had found each other.  She proceeded to let me know that she desired the same for you all, for one day to find a Godly husband or wife. I know that was one of her many prayers for you. She did not get to see that prayer answered, but know that it will come to pass. God answers all our prayers according to his will for our lives. She was a Godly woman of prayer. I know that many times she prayed for me and Papo and I will be forever grateful for that.

She left you the best legacy and that is the legacy of knowing Jesus. She will forever live in you.

Love you.

Our deepest condolences to your family. We were so heartbroken to hear about Antonia’s passing. She was such a special person—kind, compassionate, and full of warmth. I feel truly fortunate to have met and worked with her. She took such wonderful care of my son, and I will always be grateful for the love and attention she gave him. Her presence made a difference in our lives, and she will be deeply missed.

Please accept my sincere condolences due to the loss of our dear sister/your loved one. She got her wings to fly away before each of us BUT she’s free now. Just know that she will be greatly missed by her Wailing Womens Family . She’ll remain in our hearts and you will remain in our prayers.

Sincerely,

Pastor Beverly Kempson, Atlanta, Ga.

I want to take a moment to share my heartfelt reflections on my sister, Antonia Aro. Our journey began in 2011 at a Wailing Women’s meeting, where we answered a divine call to stand in the gap as intercessors. From that moment, a deep bond formed between us, nurturing a friendship that blossomed with time. Antonia soon became an integral part of my professional life when she joined my office, and our relationship evolved into a powerful partnership in prayer.

Antonia's life as a nurse was nothing short of inspiring. She embodied the very essence of what every patient hopes for in their caregiver. Nursing was not merely a job for her; it was an innate calling, a tapestry woven from threads of compassion and unwavering service to others. Her selflessness was breathtaking, and patients and colleagues alike sought her out, drawn by her extraordinary presence.

Her devotion to her patients was remarkable, marked by a level of commitment that set her apart in a demanding profession. In the face of daunting challenges, Antonia had an extraordinary gift for instilling hope, even in the bleakest of situations. Although her role primarily involved office duties, she would often be called upon to soothe tensions during complex cases, her calming spirit working wonders.

Antonia loved people with a depth that knew no bounds; her warmth and empathy made her exceptionally dependable. As a friend and prayer partner, she was a true burden bearer, shouldering the weight of others' struggles as if they were her own. Countless times, she would pray fervently and fast relentlessly, dedicated to seeking resolution and restoration for those in need. Her life was a testament to love in action, a legacy of hope and unwavering support for all who crossed her path. I will miss my sister greatly but her memories will forever live in my heart.

I pray the holy Spirit be the best comfort...to the family in this time 🙏

May her soul rest In peace 🕊️

May God Almighty comfort the family at large....and rest her beautiful soul.

When I first met Mrs. Aro, it was her smile that drew me to her. Her smile was inviting her hugs were warm.

We connected immediately over our love of food. She loved to cook and I love to eat. She would send food to me each time she had the strength to cook. I truly appreciated her thoughtfulness and how she showed up for her family.

I thank you Flo, Valerie and Joseph for sharing your mother with me.

May her soul rest in perfect peace.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Your mother’s love and kindness were a gift to all who knew her. I never met her, but felt as if I did from the beautiful pictures of her always smiling and stories of her praying for everyone. Can’t forget her singing and dancing as well. She will be forever remembered and loved.

May the good Lord comfort the family

& May her soul rest in peace

My deepest condolences to her family we love you all and forever have Antonia in my heart❤️till we meet again my dear friend🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

The memory of meeting mummy Aro is evergreen, she treated me as a cynosure even when she hadn’t set me before. Her warmth hospitality and sweet smiles were topnotch.

She radiated inner beauties of love, care and peace. Her words were like a healing balm, her counsels were like a moral compass and dedications were unwavering.

The earth mourns her sun set, the heavens rejoice for unending sunrise, we feel the earthly pain, the heavens celebrate her gains. We say goodbye to a proverb 31 woman, the Angels welcome a saint triumphant

We rest in the scriptural promises that says ‘blessed are the dead in Christ for their works follow them’. We shall surely meet before the savior to sing hallelujah songs forever.

Florence, dad and siblings should take solace in the truth that the good Lord loved mum than we did.

Good night.

My sincerest condolences. Praying for your family during this difficult time. She has left a legacy that will flourish past her wildest dreams.
Beautiful soul, knew you for a short period, but I see your good work  in the life of your children, a caring  kind hearted woman of God, you’re in your father’s arms rest on till we meet to part no more.

My beautiful sister Antonia, what great memories I have of you. It was truly a privilege to work side by side with you in the Welcome ministry.  Not a Sunday went by without you asking me if I was okay, even though you were also at times going through your own struggles.

You raised 3 amazing God fearing children who you always expressed your love for them, and would always ask me to partner with you in praying for them.  They will now carry on with your legacy.

Antonia interceded for me and my family many times, she never left that big, joyful smile behind. She was one of a kind, what a powerful, strong prayer warrior she was. She will forever be missed, but I know she is before our Savior bowing and worshiping as she so loved to do. Antonia was a ray of sunshine, and now that light is shining bright in heaven.

Until we meet again, ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My deepest condolences, love and prayers to all of her family and friends, and anyone who was lucky enough to know her.

Anthonia Aro was truly a remarkable woman, and words can hardly capture how much she meant to me. From the moment she moved next door with her little ones, I knew she was someone special. Buying that house was a dream come true for her, and the joy on her face was unforgettable. We quickly became more than neighbors—we became family. Her children became like my own, and our bond grew stronger with every shared moment.

No matter what challenges life threw her way, she always carried a radiant smile and a steadfast belief that "God will provide." She was the hardest-working woman I have ever known, finding solace in worship music, often sitting in her car and letting its melodies bring her peace. Our years together were filled with laughter, conversations, celebrations, and unwavering support for one another.

Her passing leaves an ache in my heart, but I take comfort in knowing she is at peace, embraced by her Savior. The love, strength, and kindness she shared will live on forever, and she will always have a place in my heart.
