Annmarie's obituary

Annmarie Ercoli (Jacobs), born on March 22, 1973, to Charles "Charlie" Jacobs and Lynda Thornton, passed away suddenly in her home on Monday, January 27, 2025.

Annmarie spent her childhood immersed in the outdoors where she hunted with her father and enjoyed the company of friends. Her adventurous spirit led to a lifelong passion for off-roading, whether navigating trails on her ATV or off roading in her SUV.

She was a devoted mother to her four children: Hannah Newman of Westerly, RI; Philip Newman of Pawcatuck, CT; Michael Ercoli of Waterbury, CT; and Sophia Ercoli of Waterbury, CT and one granddaughter Emily Newman of Pawcatuck CT. Annmarie is also survived by her mother, Lynda Thornton of Brookfield, CT, and her husband Michael Ercoli of Waterbury, CT. She was predeceased by her grandmother Anna Jacobs and father Charles Jacobs, both of Newtown, CT.

Arrangements: Calling hours for Annmarie will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 1:00 – 2:45 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. A prayer service will follow the wake at 2:45 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. 

Annmarie’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
