Annie Jewel Salvato, 94 of Houston, Texas passed away February 9, 2024 following a brief illness. Jewel was born to Alfred and Alice Henry on April 5, 1929 in Spring, Texas. She graduated High school from the Klien Independent School District in 1949. She married her husband Lee Salvato on November 7, 1951, and they had one son Michael Wayne Salvato on October 1, 1952. She was a beloved sister, wife, mother and friend. A dedicated homemaker raised her son with love and care. Her kind heart and beautiful smile, and warm presence will be missed by all those who knew her.

Jewel is preceded in death by her husband (Lee Salvato) and son,( Michael W. Salvato), 2 brothers Melvin and Julius Henry, nephew Herman Eugene and niece Diane. Left to cherish her memory are her little sister Joyce Marie Roland, 6 nephews Norman, Melvin G., Darrell, Alfred, and Roger Henry, Ronald M. Roland, and friends. There will be a graveside service at Forest Park Lawndale. Details to be released at a later date.
