Annie Elizabeth Herring, a 47 year breast cancer survivor, passed away on January 5th in Orlando, Florida. She was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and graduated from Rocky Mount High School in June 1949. She became a navy wife in 1952 and lived on naval bases in Norfolk and Portsmouth, Virginia.
